Finance Assistant

This is a wonderful opportunity to join a fascinating business based in a rural setting near to Burgess Hill. Reporting to a very supportive finance manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of sales and purchase ledger including payment runs, reconciliations and credit control.

You will also assist with month end reporting and budget setting/reviews, so your strong bookkeeping background will be utilised to the full, as will your aptitude for learning new systems and accounts applications.

Our ideal candidate will have at least three years’ experience in sales and purchase ledger and be someone who really knows their debits from their credits! You will also be a strong communicator with a firm but fair manner when performing credit control duties.

Please note that standard hours are 8am to 4:30pm with some flexibility if required. Minimum hours would be around 30 per week. Please specify your preference when applying. Hybrid working will be available after probation period – one day per week WFH.  Also, please note that the office isn’t accessible by public transport so you will need your own vehicle to get there.
