Purchase Ledger Clerk, Worthing


My lovely client in Worthing has an exciting opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their friendly accounts team. This role would be ideal for someone who has previous experience of purchase ledger and who enjoys being kept busy!

Your key duties will include:

• Match and approve invoices against purchase orders, obtaining approval from other departments when required

• Scan, code and input a high volume of invoices to the job costing systems 

• Supplier queries

• Processing expenses claims on a weekly basis

• Payment runs

• Ensure supplier records are kept up date 

• Statement reconciliations.

If you have previous experience in purchase ledger and are a good communicator who is able to interact effectively with people at all levels then we would love to hear from you! Knowledge of Excel is essential.

  • Salary is up to £26,000
  • 40-hour working week (Monday – Friday 8.00 – 5pm with one hour lunch).
