Payroll Assistant

My lovely client has a new vacancy for a detail-oriented payroll assistant to join their dedicated team. Their ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of payroll processing and associated administration, and be experienced in the use of Sage Payroll software.

Responsibilities

– Process payroll data for up to 20 companies accurately and in a timely manner

– Utilise Sage Payroll accounting software and HMRC/NEST submissions

– Analyse payroll reports for discrepancies and ensure accuracy

– Dealing with client enquiries in an exceptionally helpful and positive way.

Requirements

– Proficiency in data entry and payroll processing – Sage Payroll experience is essential

– A strong level of technical payroll knowledge

– Strong analytical skills to review and audit payroll data

– Ability to work collaboratively and with a commitment to team deadlines.

Hours can be worked over two and a half days (9am to 5pm/12:30pm) or over five mornings.  This is a temporary assignment in the first instance, with the possibility of a permanent role.
