Credit Controller- new role!

Lancing business park £21,000

As a key member of this lively Credit Control department you will be responsible for taking a proactive and dynamic approach to outstanding balances and payments. You will be responsible for the reduction of debt via telephone, email and letter, ensuring it stays at a low level and effectively deal with discrepancies. You will assist the team with managing the pipeline of arrears, allocation of payments and taking a decisive approach to errors. Assistant Accountant - new role!

This is a terrific new career position for a hard-working AAT qualified accountant who is (ideally) actively studying towards ACCA or ACMA. You will be working with the finance director to consolidate accounts from a number of branch offices and will also be on hand to provide those teams with accounting support and advice. Management Accountant - new role!

My client is the UK subsidiary of an international US-owned business with operations accross the globe. The UK sites are successful and profitable with a dedicated team of both technical and support staff servicing UK customers in this hi-tech manufacturing market. The management accountant reports to the site financial controller and is responsible for overseeing the accurate recording of a high volume of financial transactions, along with all associated analysis and reporting - both to the UK SMT and to the US parent company. There is also input to the stock, inventory and costing processes in order to support the profitable operation of the manufacturing facility. Our ideal candidate will be an accomplished part-qualified (or equivalent) management accountant or analyst, who has recently worked in a subsidiary role with an industrial or manufacturing company. The FC may also consider a commercial accountant who has a services background and a real interest in the manufacturing sector. Either way, you will be an ambitious and experienced part- or recently qualified ACCA or ACMA accountant (or possibly QBE) with energy and enthusiasm. There are excellent prospects for the right person. Please note that the position will initially be offered on a 12-month contract basis. Standard hours are 08:15 to 5pm, Monday to Thursday and 08:15 to 1pm on Friday. I am working on a sole agency basis to recruit a high-calibre chartered accountant to become the finance manager of a Worthing-based industrial company which has a strong heritage and customer base. This is both a hands-on and strategic role, with responsibility for: Overseeing financial and management accounts and providing the directors and SMT with timely and meaningful reports relating to cashflow, forecasts and profitability with full commentary and analysis. I am just starting the hunt for a really friendly and experienced accountant to join the finance team of an established business based in the heart of West Sussex. Reporting to the group financial controller, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts with all associated reconciliations and reports. You will also support the operational finance team with daily transactional accounting so you will be a real team player who is happy to help out as required to meet deadlines and objectives. This will be an ideal contract for an AAT qualified person or part-qualified ACCA / ACMA with experience of working in a group accounts environment.
