Accounts and Payroll Controller

We have sole agency for the recruitment of a talented and resourceful accounts and payroll controller to run the daily accounting for a very busy and highly-respected company in the Haywards Heath area. The key tasks will include: Running the weekly and monthly payroll. Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers with associated customer and supplier contact including credit control. Bank reconciliations and petty cash control. VAT returns and other statutory compliance. Reconciling control accounts and submitting returns to head office. Assisting with a system upgrade and helping to improve/streamline processes and controls. Our ideal candidate will have plenty of recent practical accounting experience in the areas above and will also have the potential to grow in the role and with the business. Temporary Accounts Manager

We are looking for an efficient, friendly and helpful accounts manager to hold the reins of our client's finances for a period of up to three months. You will have sole responsibility for maintaining financial accounts using Sage 50, along with all associated administration. This is a hands-on position and will suit someone with an SME accounts management background. You will also be very computer-literate with recent Sage 50 experience as well as strong Excel skills.
