Accounts Assistant

Assistant Accountant

The newly-created position of Assistant Accountant will be key in ensuring daily financial accounts and monthly reporting is maintained to the highest standard. Your duties will include: * Purchase and sales ledger * Credit control and aged debt reporting * Bank reconciliation * Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and year end submissions * VAT returns * Office administration. Management Accountant - Pacalis Investments Ltd.

My client is Pacalis Investments Ltd., a privately-owned property development and construction company which creates high quality retirement communities in the South East. Reporting to the senior accountant and chief executive, the accountant assistant will be key to the efficiency of the accounting and administrative support functions. Your remit will include: - Preparation of monthly management accounts. - Cash flow, forecasting and budget reporting with commentary and variance analysis. - Production of ad hoc management reports as required. - Liaising with directors, suppliers, investors and other stakeholders to ensure they are kept informed and expectations are managed. - Effective use of Sage 50 and Excel spreadsheets.
